Conditions of Booking

for The Gainsborough Hotel, 291-295 Promenade, Blackpool

1 - All accommodation is offered subject to availability at time of receipt of deposit and at the tariffs applicable according to season.

2 - Meal times are pre-arranged and no allowances can be made for any absence from meals (please check with Hotel on 01253 345804 for times of evening meal on day of arrival).

3 - Rooms are usually ready for occupation by 2.30pm on day of arrival and must be vacated by 10.00am on day of departure. Failure to do so may result in an extra charge being made.

4 - The proprietors cannot accept responsibility for loss of guest’s property unless handed in for safe custody.

5 - Cars are parked on the Hotel Car Park at customer's own risk. Parking spaces cannot be reserved and should any car be moved during the stay, other guests who have been unable to park on the Hotel Car Park could take the space created. The Car Park is for the use of guest residents at the Hotel only and not for visitors unless permission has been granted. Car Park spaces must be vacated by 10.00am on day of departure to allow tor incoming guests.

6 - In the event of any cancellation. The person whose signature appears on the booking form and I or the person whose name appears on the deposit receipt will be liable to pay tor the total cost as per the reservation, less an allowance for food and service. Deposits are non-refundable but will be deducted from any claim tor compensation arising out of any cancellation or curtailment of the contract. (PLEASE SEE BOTTOM OF PAGE).

7 - Lf the deposit has been paid using a Credit Card authorised account number then any payment due owing to cancellation will also be made on this same account number by the Proprietor.

8 - The proprietors reserve the right to amend, curtail or terminate any contract should the conduct of any person who is a party to that contract cause any detriment to the wellbeing or comfort of other guests and or staff.

9 - Any damage however caused to the Gainsborough Hotel property must be paid for. 10 - All bills must be cleared in full on or before DAY OF ARRIVAL Payment may be made by any or the following methods: a) Cash b) Credit Card: (VISA. MASTERCARDAMERICAN EXPRESS or DINERS CLUB) c) Debit Card: (MAESTRO, DELTA, SOLO) d) Building Society Cheque e) Personal Cheque (accompanied by a current cheque guarantee for the full amount) PERSONAL CHEQUE over the cheque guarantee card limit must be forwarded to the Hotel 10 days prior to arrival to allow for Bank clearance. Customers are advised to invest in UK holidays insurance to safeguard against any cancellation or curtailment of holidays. PLEASE NOTE: if this booking form is tor a group booking, the organiser is requested to ensure that all persons in the party are aware of the above conditions.

A separate form covering UK cancellation insurance for larger groups of 15 persons or over is also available. Please enquire for one if needed.
